Pointcore Achieves Epic Connect Accredited+ Status
Elite Accredidation Amplifies Value for Healthcare Partners
PEORIA, IL – July 1, 2025 – Pointcore, a wholly-owned subsidiary of OSF HealthCare, proudly announces its Epic Community Connect Program has attained Connect Accredited+ status. This elite recognition exhibits the delivery of enhanced benefits and expanded capabilities for its healthcare partners. This achievement underscores Pointcore’s commitment to extending Epic’s powerful EHR system as a technology service, significantly improving patient experiences and outcomes for providers.
Pointcore is one of four Accredited+ Connect hosts globally among 63 total Connect Accredited hosts for 2025. Accredited+ qualifies Pointcore to host larger Connect sites (200+ licensed beds, 200,000 or more annual encounters), or sites that are located outside of the Connect host’s direct service area, showcasing unparalleled expertise and infrastructure.
Epic awards accreditation based on rigorous criteria including having happy Connect site users and executives, strong Epic adoption and adherence to Connect best practices. Attaining the Accredited+ designation requires meeting the initial Accredited status along with excelling in ten additional foundational categories. These include achieving Epic Gold Stars 7, meeting Honor Roll criteria, demonstrating improved provider efficiency, increasing use of data analytics, facilitating high MyChart adoption and participation in Epic benchmarking.
