Overview
The OSF HealthCare Cancer Institute project, initiated for OSF HealthCare, includes the following scope of work: New construction of a 6-story Cancer Institute including a concrete vault to house a proton therapy system. Total building area is approximately 194,000 square feet in the main building, with additional square footage in the new parking deck. The project features a Varian ProBeam proton therapy installation of a superconducting cyclotron particle accelerator, beam transport system, 360-degree rotating gantry and purpose-built patient treatment room. The project also allows for ample patient examination, consultation and administration areas.
