Specialty Pharmacy Facility, OSF HealthCare Integrated Distribution Center

Overview

Pointcore served as Program Manager and Construction Manager for the expansion of a specialty pharmacy facility at OSF HealthCare Integrated Distribution Center. This project required tightly coordinated design and construction since specialty pharmacies must meet complex operational, regulatory and storage requirements. Initially, there was a misalignment between the design team and the pharmacy operators around workflow, equipment placement and regulatory needs. Pointcore addressed this by bringing all relevant stakeholders together, including a facility tour of a similar pharmacy, which created clarity across the team, informed design modifications and improved operational functionality.

Through refined design coordination, value engineering and close collaboration with trade partners, the project team ensured the pharmacy expansion met both efficiency and compliance goals. Pointcore’s proactive approach kept the project on track, and the project was completed on time and under budget.
