Overview
In downtown Peoria, Illinois, Pointcore led the restoration of the historic Ministry Headquarters parking deck for OSF HealthCare. This four‑level, 145,000 sq ft structure was originally built in 1950 and is part of a nationally registered historic district. Over its many decades of use, the deck had significantly deteriorated, as more than 90% of the roof‑level beams and nearly half of the lower‑level beams exhibited structural distress.
Pointcore managed the project through comprehensive preconstruction assessment and restoration planning, coordinating closely with structural engineers, historic‑preservation authorities and construction partners. The restoration included full slab replacement, beam repair and replacement, waterproofing, updated MEP systems, and safety upgrades, all while balancing preservation with modern performance.
